I was given the opportunity to attend a presentation by Will Richardson today in Springfield Illinois.
Honestly, as an instructional technology director I should have really already understood what a blog, wiki, rss feed, etc. was and how they could be used within our classrooms....but I didn't.
Oh sure I could through the terms around...act like I knew what I was talking about, but didn't have a clue what they looked like or how these new tools were being used...or could be used.
...who has the time?
Well, after today I am going to make the time. The tools and resources Will presented today, plus his point about being instructional leader , we have an obligation to learn and understand the possibilities of these on-line resources . Further we need to organize our classroom learning in a meaningful ways using these on-line resources and tools.
